ArcelorMittal at Wire & Tube
Several ArcelorMittal Europe entities participated in Wire & Tube fairs held on 4-8 April in Düsseldorf, where ArcelorMittal showcased some of its breakthrough product developments.
Wire fair: dynamic exchanges
ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products coordinated our presence at the Wire fair as well with a 256 m² stand which received visits from 500 customers from all over the world. Visitors had the possibility to exchange and engage in technical and commercial discussions with sales network and Technical Marketing teams but also with colleagues from WireSolutions who joined the Long Products team for this event.
Tube fair: a successful 2016 edition
Meanwhile at the Tube fair, over 60 colleagues from all production and sales units of ArcelorMittal Tubular Europe joined the event. The main objective of this event was to ensure our visibility in this tough market environment and meet face to face with customers. Tube fair took place in a very pleasant atmosphere, the team welcomed about 1,500 visitors who came to gather information or to request meetings.

About Wire & Tube
Taking place together every two years, Wire & Tube fairs are events of worldwide importance with more than 1,300 exhibitors from 53 countries. Wire covers drawing and other process machinery and gathers key players of the wire and wire rod business. Tube gathers key players of the pipe industry and is thus the most important showcase for all professionals manufacturing, processing and using pipes.
This year 70,000 visitors came from all around the world. As usual, companies from Italy, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK, Sweden and Germany all gathered to the events. Sizable overseas contingents came from the US, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Japan and China.
